Permissive

Three hundred and sixty-odd days of 2008, day 183 On banks of the river Bure. This would have worked better had I adhered to the rule of thirds and not had the horizon smack in the centre of the picture.

This image, unless I'm mistaken, represents the halfway point of the Three Hundred and Sixty-Odd Days of 2008 project. Let joy be unconfined.

Three hundred and sixty-odd days of 2008, day 152

The reverse of this shot/.

This was the shot I actually wanted to get of the trailer, but when I took the original the sun was in almost exactly the wrong place and blew out the sky. I took this a couple of days later with the sun high in the sky behind me.

I love the textures in this image; the sky, the wood and metal of the trailer, the nettles. I with I could have found an angle where the house wasn't in shot, but you can't have everything.

Trailing

Three hundred and sixty-odd days of 2008, day 150

A trailer that someone abandoned near my home. Edited to remove some powerlines (hurrah for the Gimp's healing algorithm, which helped to cover my sins).

Also, the title is an apt description of how I'm doing with this project yet again. Certain events have made things more difficult in terms of future photography, but I'm hoping to at least catch up by the end of the weekend.

About

Graham Binns is a writer, photographer, musician and software developer from Lancaster, England, with far too much hair, a penchant for odd t-shirts and a magnificent hat. He has been making things up for as long as he can remember and has been making code work for long enough to make a living from it.

He has written one novel, which is in the process of composting, and is working remembering how to write before embarking on a second. In the meantime, he photographs things, since it's easier not to have to make the world up in his head all of the time.
