I've always had a bit of an obsession with the moon. Ever since I was a kid and I read about the Apollo missions it's held a fascination for me that I've never been able to shake.

Of course, everyone and their dog has taken this picture. Doesn't stop me from liking it, though.

Another one of those nothing shots, purely opportunistic as I stepped out of the door to go to dinner with my father.

I exposed for the contrails, which led the Nikon auto white balance and saturation algorithms to do something... interesting. Cropped for better effect, but otherwise untouched.

Graham Binns is a writer, photographer, musician and software developer from Lancaster, England, with far too much hair, a penchant for odd t-shirts and a magnificent hat. He has been making things up for as long as he can remember and has been making code work for long enough to make a living from it.
