in: art jealousy links people rebekka gudleifsdottir talent

Rebekka Guðleifsdóttir is insanely talented. Massively, stupendously so. And, as always when I come across someone who is massively, insanely talented (or even talented and massive or insane, which isn't the case here so far as I can tell), I wanted to tell you lot about it before going and finding a corner in which to sulk about my own lack of creative nouse in all the areas in which I'd like to have some.

It was Rebekka's Flickr stream that made me want to get a decent camera (which I have now done) so that I can take photos as well as she does (which I have not yet). Now it turns out that not only is she a genius with a camera, she's also bloody good at pencil and paper work.  And she's working on opening a store through which to sell her wares.

Right. I've told you about her. Now I'm off to sulk.

About

Graham Binns is a writer, photographer, musician and software developer from Lancaster, England, with far too much hair, a penchant for odd t-shirts and a magnificent hat. He has been making things up for as long as he can remember and has been making code work for long enough to make a living from it.

He has written one novel, which is in the process of composting, and is working remembering how to write before embarking on a second. In the meantime, he photographs things, since it's easier not to have to make the world up in his head all of the time.
