Dark side

Three hundred and sixty-odd days of 2008, day 174

I was trying to illustrate the duality of personality here, but I don't think it quite worked.

Actually, that's rubbish. This was accidental, but I thought that it might almost work to illustrate the duality of personality. It's not subtle enough for that, though.

Because being a musician and not playing withers your soul.

A brief idea that popped into my head when I was sorting out a suitcase full of clothes. I could've used the guitar as a prop but figured that since I'd done that only a day before I probably shouldn't do it again.

Also, for some reason, I appear not to be wearing socks. Odd, that.

It's been a while since we had a boring old self-portrait, so here's a very boring self portrait, taken using the SB-600 and a Lambency diffuser dome / Gary Fong Lightsphere ripoff.

(I'm only posting this because it will serve as my June autoportrait for Whitechapel.)

This is a rather self-referential ironic comment. Enjoy it. It also marks the boundary of "too many autoportraits. Move on..."

(Also, that's a very good book.)

About

Graham Binns is a writer, photographer, musician and software developer from Lancaster, England, with far too much hair, a penchant for odd t-shirts and a magnificent hat. He has been making things up for as long as he can remember and has been making code work for long enough to make a living from it.

He has written one novel, which is in the process of composting, and is working remembering how to write before embarking on a second. In the meantime, he photographs things, since it's easier not to have to make the world up in his head all of the time.
