Nah, this isn't going to cause any trouble, is it?

From BBC News: 'Virgin births' for giant lizards (via Another Chance to See)
Kevin Buley, a curator at Chester Zoo and a co-author on the paper, said: "Flora laid her eggs at the end of May and, given the incubation period of between seven and nine months, it is possible they could hatch around Christmas - which for a 'virgin birth' would finish the story off nicely. The christian god has evidently given up on the human race as a hopeless waste of time and, recognising that we'll solve the problem by annihilating ourselves sooner or later, is starting on the next species that he thinks shows promise."We will be on the look-out for shepherds, wise men and an unusually bright star in the sky over Chester Zoo."

Graham Binns is a writer, photographer, musician and
software developer from Lancaster, England, with far too
much hair, a penchant for odd t-shirts and a magnificent
hat. He has been making things up for as long as he
can remember and has been making code work for long enough
to make a living from it.
He has written one novel, which is in the process of
composting, and is working remembering how to write before
embarking on a second. In the meantime, he photographs
things, since it's easier not to have to make the world up
in his head all of the time.
