Will You? (Part II)

Will You? (Part II)

Three hundred and sixty-odd days of 2008, day 240

This is the spot (within a few feet), where I asked my fianceé to marry me, on the shale beach at Luss, on the shore of Loch Lomond.

Someone had stuck these two chairs at the water's edge for reasons unknown. Nevertheless, I liked the looking-to-the-great-beyond feel that they lent to the image.

Shot handheld at 1/2 second to blur the water (oh to have taken the tripod with me). I'm amazed it's as sharp as it is, though.

Edited to remove an unfortunately blurred duck.

I've had to faff about signing up for OpenID just so that Marcia and I can say "Congratulations!"

All the best for the future. Hope you are ok and enjoying life.

Merci beaucoup! Of course I'm enjoying life; I'm sure you'd expect nothing less. I hope that you're enjoying yours, too ;)

It would be mean of me, I suppose, to point out that Marcia's LJ account would have served perfectly well as an OpenID login, wouldn't it? I shan't then ;).

About

Graham Binns is a writer, photographer, musician and software developer from Lancaster, England, with far too much hair, a penchant for odd t-shirts and a magnificent hat. He has been making things up for as long as he can remember and has been making code work for long enough to make a living from it.

He has written one novel, which is in the process of composting, and is working remembering how to write before embarking on a second. In the meantime, he photographs things, since it's easier not to have to make the world up in his head all of the time.
