Three hundred and sixty-odd days of 2008, day 44
I went out in the freezing dark tonight, wondering if I could snaffle some star shots. Well, it turns out that astrophotography isn’t my forte yet, which is why you’re not seeing a beautiful shot of Ursa Minor here.
But whilst I was outside in the pale moonlight I did spot this pile of junk in my neighbour’s yard. So I shot it, using the same settings, more-or-less, that I’d used for the star shots.
It was still a bit boring so, inspired by FatPete’s recent TTV shots, I applied one of Nesster‘s TTV overlays to it in multiply mode.
And voila. A slightly grotty-looking junk pile. Probably a bit too dark, but still interesting-looking, I think.
