Feeds Updated, Travel and Other Gubbins

I’m in a tizzy this morning as I’m making preparations to go to London for a hard day’s listening to some boring fart from the ODPM tomorrow. Oh, rapture. Mind you I should be able to get some decent writing done on the train(s). I’ve been very lax this week on that front, so I need to play catch-up for a while. I have the last scence of Muse floating around in my head so I need to get that into print before I forget it. I’ve also sketched an outline for the story that I’m going to have to flesh out a bit before I can work with it; I’ve got so many ideas that I need to marshall them into some sort of coherent format before I start to write, otherwise I’ll just end up getting tied in a knot.

The LiveJournal syndication for the RSS 2 feed has been updated, with the interesting result that all of the entries have been duplicated and at least one of them is chronologically out-of-sync, but otherwise it’s hunky dory. I don’t know yet how aggregators have fared in the move, though I suspect that there’s so few people reading this as yet that it’s rather unimportant.

I’ve got a raft of draft posts here to get finished but alas I don’t have the time, so I’ll close some Firefox tabs and give you a few links for amusement instead:

Lord Nelson is as into unwanted hair removal products as the next guy, it seems

It’s apparently unthinkable that anyone should not be able to watch TV (no prizes for anyone who thinks that maybe not being able to watch TV would do people some good, I’m afraid).

And finally an interesting, if shallow article on Christian Voice, the religious group that is threatening to picket abortion clinics and is making a big issue out of strong-arming charities into not taking money from people that they, Christian Voice, don’t like. Don’t you just love religion?

I’ll try and get some blogging done from London (apparently my hotel has wireless broadband so fingers crossed) but no promises. See you soon.
